I’ve been creating photo-realistic 3D illustrations and animations in Cinema 4D (and other applications) since the mid-1990’s. Here’s a few examples.
Social Media Graphics
One of the most in-demand design tasks, creating social media graphics – in-brand, and on-time – is largely an exercise in artistic simplicity.
Here are 50 examples of social-post graphic designs I created in the last year or two.
For me, photography is a hobby, art form and design tool, all at the same time. Oddly enough, I was a Photoshop pro for several years before digital photography was common – which made the transition from analog a total no-brainer. Back then, Photoshop was referred to as a digital darkroom (still is, for some).
Infographics are my favorite type of design project. Complex or simple, infographics are excellent tools for explaining complex subjects in an easily understandable manner.
Here are 17 examples of some of the infographics I’ve created – click on the image for a slide show.
3D animations – 2000-2007
These are looping video gifs of the interior of a Seagate Barracuda disc drive. I created them in Cinema 4D while working in the Global Product Marketing group at the primary R&D facility of Seagate Technology in Longmont, Colorado. These animations were used in trade show exhibits, and a wide variety of sales presentations.
Illustration – 1993
Working with one of the largest ad agencies in the Denver, Colorado area, I created this illustration for the 18th Annual First Interstate Bank Cup in Winter Park, Colorado. It was used in a variety of advertising and marketing materials, including; a brochure, a variety of ads, and 500 signed and numbered posters. The original was later sold in a silent auction at the event for $4,000.
