Honda XR650L wiring diagram
(1993 through 2009)
I illustrated this wiring diagram in 2017, not long after purchasing a 1995 Honda XR650L. Its wiring system needed a little work, but I was unable to find any good quality versions of the wiring diagram online to guide me, so, using what little I found online, and referencing the wiring on my personal XR, I created this technical illustration.

The XL650 I used to own
This is the 1995 Honda XL650 I created the wiring diagram for.
I bought it in 2015, and kept it until 2017. Great bike for it’s age. Wish I’d had it when I was still living out west, lol.
After that, are various other motorcycles I used to own (plus the Versys I still have).

My 1979 Husqvarna 390 OR – bought in 1991 not long after moving to Denver. First bike I rode in Rampart Range.
My Kawasaki KLX 300R, KTM 525 MX and Honda ST1300, outside my garage in Longmont, CO.
My Honda Africa Twin – purchased new in 2019. I was living in northern New Jersey, where there’s nowhere worth a shit for dirt biking.
