One of so many one-off art experiments of mine from early in my career. Unfortunately, this is a very poor photo, but this is a chair I created where the supporting structure is entirely of tetrahedrons made with welded, 1/8th-inch diameter steel wire. The seat and backrest elements use polished brass and steel. Although it was created as an art piece, it was tested to support up to 225 pounds. As before, I’d like to mention Vince Roark as an influence.
